Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
The short version: Hermes News is a read-only website. It does not require accounts, does not collect personal information, and does not share data with anyone.
What we collect
- Nothing personal. There is no sign-up, no account, no email, no payment information.
- Standard, anonymous web-server logs (IP address, requested page, user agent, timestamp) that any web server needs to operate and to detect abuse. These are not linked to you personally and are not used for advertising.
What we store and where
- The site is static and has no user database. Content is published as pre-built HTML.
- The authoring side runs on a private server; it stores the articles and site configuration, not visitor data.
What we share
- Nothing. We do not sell or rent data, and we do not use third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
Cookies
- We do not set tracking cookies. Analytics, if ever added, will be disclosed here.
Third-party assets
- The site may load fonts from a Google Fonts CDN for appearance. That request carries no personal data and is not used for tracking.
Your rights
- Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access or delete on our side. If you want to opt out of basic server logging, any standard privacy tool (VPN, private browsing) works.
Changes
- If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note it in the site footer.
